Whenever Federal University, Dutse, Jigawa State – FUD admission list for fresh UTME and DE students is released or a new academic session resumes, the next line of action is the registration procedures for freshly admitted students. This post will intimate all fresh students on the necessary steps to be taken in registering for this academic session. This will clear all doubts and confusions associated with registering for your courses, hostel registration, payment of acceptance and school fees.
Please note that this information is vital for both fresh students only so all that is required of you is to follow the step by step procedures below and you are good to go.
Upon registration, freshers are expected to have the following documents as they would be needed for either uploads to FUD admission portal or for imputing necessary details during the registration process.
FUD Registration Procedures For Fresh Students 2024/2025 Academic Session
Step 1: All School fees Registration must be through this Portal and NOT THROUGH REMITA WEBSITE
Step 2: Once verified by the Head of Department, log onto this portal with your JAMB Registration Number as Username and STATE OF ORIGIN (in CAPITAL letters) as Password
Step 3: Click School Fees to generate payment invoice, click Remita logo to Pay online with a debit card or print invoice receipt to pay at FUD Microfinance or any commercial Bank
Step 4: Proceed to the respective Faculty Accountant Office for submission of a copy of Remita Payment receipt for stamp and verification.
Step 5: After payment, click Generate REGISTRATION NUMBER to generate your Registration Number.
Step 6: CLICK GO TO SCHOOL to logout and use your newly generated REGISTRATION NUMBER as Username and Password to login.
Step 7: The system will prompt you to change your password, and make sure your password is strong (Combination of letters, numbers and special character)
Step 8: Upload your Passport and select Biodata to update your biodata
Step 9: Print Clinic form to proceed to the University Clinic for Lab test.
Step 10: Select Course Registration to register courses. Students are strongly advised to seek the guidance from their respective level coordinators on the courses they are supposed to register.
Step 11: To apply for accommodation, click on Hostel to reserve bed space.
Note: Only Fresh and Final year students are eligible for accommodation, and the allocation of bed spaces in both male and Female Hostel will be done on a first-come-first-served basis.
