Dr Felix Nwarienne, who is currently serving in Kano has done a great deal to the community he was posted. He is serving with the eye clinic at the Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital.
The Corp member went on to carry out a development service in the community among patients suffering from one eye problem or the other. According to information, he has so far carried out a free eye surgery which is worth N15,000 each on about 16 patients, he has also provided free eye glasses to about 100 patients. it was also noted that, this is the first of it's kind in that hospital.
This development has drawn the attention of the NYSC coordinator who commended his services and advised other Corps members to emulate such gesture by impacting the various community they were posted to.
In the same vein, it was also gathered that, the management of the hospital is appealing to the government to increase the number of Corps members posted to the hospital.
