Four students of the University of Lagos have been selected for the Istanbul Kültür University Student Exchange Programme for the year 2022.
The four students are: Faith Ndaliaku Obi of the Department of English Language and literature who topped the list of applicants from the University of Lagos with 96.13 points, Iteoluwakashi Raphael Babatunde of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department who made 95.13 points to clinch his slot, Wisdom Chidiebube Ordu of the Business Administration Department who scored 94.76 points and Daberechi Kelechi Emezue of the Industrial Engineering Department who made the list with 93.92 points.
A total of 18 UNILAG students submitted entries for the Istanbul Kültür University Erasmus KA 107 Programme for year 2022.
Meanwhile, the Vice-Chancellor, University of Lagos; Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS, has congratulated the four students who won the Istanbul Kultur University Student Exchange Programme.
While acknowledging the confidence of the 18 UNILAG students who submitted entries for the programme, the Vice-Chancellor described their efforts and performance as encouraging, one which he said lends credence to the competitive spirit which the University of Lagos is reputed for.
Professor Ogundipe challenged other UNILAG students to always leverage on and explore all the opportunities, partnerships and prospects which the university has been attracting with a view to further improving their academic prospects and making the University of Lagos more visible especially in the global comity of ivory towers.
Established in 1997, the Istanbul Kültür University is one of the many private universities located in Istanbul, Turkey. It has a total of four campuses all in close proximity to each other in the western part of Istanbul.
