Aim and Benefits of DST Scholarship
Each scholarship is funded by DST and will have a value of $3,000 paid in equal instalments after the census date of each semester. 10 scholarships will be available per year for the duration of the funding.
Requirements for DST Scholarship Qualification
Applicants must be:
- Australian citizens or permanent residents.
- Commencing the first year of the Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Systems and Security), Bachelor of Science (Physics) combined degree*; and
- Normally enrolled full-time at Flinders University.
Students who are enrolled part-time as a result of exceptional circumstances will be considered. Exceptional circumstances may include (but is not limited to) disability, illness or carer responsibilities. Pro-rata benefits will be paid in these instances.

Selection Criteria
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Eligible scholarship applicants will be ranked according to their ATAR, GPA or other entry pathway. If there is more than one student sharing the highest ATAR or equivalent entry pathway, results in specific school subjects may be taken into consideration.
Scholarship selection will be made in accordance with approved procedures.
