Some offices on the science building in Unilag was today, 20th March, terribly burnt by a fire, which started in the early hours of the day.
While the fire raged, some students were seen trying to rescue some of their project works and materials in the building while the Fire Men were on the way.
The fire lasted for several hours but was eventually put under control by a joint team of the federal fire service, state fire service and the campus fire service (who by the way were the last to arrive at the scene).
The cause of the fire and the extent of damage caused is yet unknown.
