Final Year Student who Sought shelter at Police Station Goes Missing

Olaniyan Yemi, a Final Year Student ofthe department of Accounting at the Osun State University, Okuku Campus has allergly gone missing.

On Tuesday, 28th of February, he reportedly traveled to Lagos to submit some documents at an ICAN Office in Lagos for his IT, which happened to be his first time in lagos.

On finishing late, it was already late in the night, so he reportedly decided to stay overnight in Lagos, intending to travel back to school the next morning, so, he went to Ojodu Police Station, and explained to the Policemen on duty, that he wanted to sleep over at the Police Station, so he could travel back to school the next morning.

The police men allegely attended to him and requested for his name, his ID card and some other documents to make him identifiable, which he presented. He afterwards called one of his colleagues in school, to inform him that he would be staying overnight at the Police Station at Ojodu.

According to his friend, that was the last time they heard from him and no one knows his where about.

On getting to the Police Station at Ojodu Berger, the Policemen reportedly denied having seen anyone at the station which match the description and information explained to them. 

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Chike Oti, said that Ojodu Police Station didn’t have record of Olaniyan spending the night at the station.
