Thursday, 24th and Friday, 25th of September, 2015 has been declared as Public Holidays to mark the celebration of this year’s Id-El-Kabir.
This was contained in a statement made by the Director of Press, Ministry of Interior, Yusuf Isiaka Alhaji on behalf of the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Abubakar Magaji on Monday.
He enjoined all Muslim faithfuls and Nigerians from all walks of life to extend the religious benefits of the Id-El-Kabir festival, which includes love, peace, empathy and tolerance to one another for the overall development of the nation.
The Permanent Secretary also admonished all Nigerians to use the festive occasion to pray for peace, progress and unity across the nation.
