Following the National Board For Technical Education (NBTE), directives dated September 28th and part of its preparation for the resumption of academic activities. See memo below;
Sequel to the circular from the National Board For Technical Education (NBTE) Ref. No. C/TEB . 173/VOL. III/42 dated 28th September, 2020. I am directed to convey the Management's approval that all staff on Grade Level 11 Downwards, who were hitherto excused from duties as a result of the Corona Virus Pandemic to resume work with effect from Monday 12th, 2020.
With this new directive, all members of staff in the employment of the polytechnic are directed to resume full work with effect from Monday 12th October 2020 and respect the approved working hours of 8am - 4pm daily.
In resuming full work, all staff are strongly advised to ensure full compliance with the directives and advise of COVID-19 preventive measures such as maintenance of physical distancing, regular washing and/or sanitizing of hands and wearing of face masks.
Furthermore, members of staff are advised to avoid overcrowding in individual offices and limit the number of visitors they receive to the barest minimum.
All staff will have to get used to the "New Normal" situation and develop "New Thinking" on how to adapt to the challenges posed by the New Normal atmosphere.
All Deans, HODs, Unit Heads are requested to ensure compliance, please.
