The attention of the Students Union Government has been drawn to the rumor making round the Polytechnic that the Academic Staff Union Of Polytechnics, Bida Chapter (ASUP-BD) is on strike and as such, the first semester examination billed to commence today Monday 1st March 2021 has been postponed till further notice.
This is untrue, deceitful and only the figment of the imaginations of the originator of this rumor. We urge the students to disregard this rumor and go about with their academic activities as the first semester examination will commence as earlier scheduled.
The management, ASUP-BD and other principal stakeholders in the Polytechnic have put on ground, every necessary arrangements for the commencement of the first semester examinations today.
We appeal to rumor mongers to desist from spreading fake and unsubstantiated news that are capable of misleading unsuspecting students.
We wish the students the very best of luck in their examinations and implore them to shun examination misconducts.
