The staff of the Federal Polytechnic Oko (OKOPOLY) has been directed to resume. This directive was contained in a circular from the office of the Registrar of the institutions. The information on the circular is provided below;
"In furtherance to the circular from the Five Secretary National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), reference number
C/TEB, 173/VOLT/42 dated 29 September 2020 on safe reopening during COVID-19 Pandemic and the pronouncement of the
Honourable Minister of Education on resumption of academic activities, I am hereby directed by the Management to informal staff of all categories to resume normal duty on every working day
with effect from Monday, October 12, 2020.
All staff are to ensure strict compliance with all the directives on combating the spread of the deadly virus and adhere strictly to
COVID-19 protocols and guidelines provided by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)."
