A former minister of education, Dauda Birmah has died at the age of 80. The statesman died on Tuesday at his home in the Adamawa State capital, Yola.
The deceased’s son, Musa Dauda Birmah, confirmed the development in a Facebook post.
He wrote:
“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihin rajiun, I lost a part of me that can never be replaced. May Allah forgive your sins and grant you janna.”
The late Birmah had served in various capacities in the defunct Northern Region Government.
