ESUT students seen fetching water from the VC's office

Students of Enugu State University of science and technology (ESUT), have decried the poor living condition in the school, and how the school management has made no effort to come to their aid.

The students complained about how the university has been in darkness for over 3 weeks without a blink of light in the hostel, making it impossible for them to pump water and charge their gadgets.

According to reports, students are subjected to walking long distances to the office of the vice-chancellor to fetch water, and those who can't go that far, buy a gallon of water at 50 naira, and 100 naira is paid to transport the water to the hostel. They also complained about spending 50 naira to charge a phone, 50 naira to charge a reading torch, and 100 naira to charge a laptop.

They called on the relevant authority to do something about the blackout in the university and restore normalcy.
