ESPOLY JAMB Cut Off Mark For 2024/2025Academic Session

The management of Enugu state polytechnic (ESPOLY) has approved the official JAMB cut off mark 2024/2025 academic session for all courses offered in the institution as directed by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

The body (JAMB) in charge of fixing cut off marks in Nigeria  has directed that all polytechnics currently operating within the country fix their cut off marks at 100, this is to bring about uniformity in the admission process though most Rectors ignored the call and still maintained status-quo.

Enugu state polytechnic (ESPOLY) also obeyed the call, did a downward review of their cut off mark, though not to 100 but to 120 from the initial cut off of 150. Therefore all candidates who selected Enugu state polytechnic (ESPOLY) as their preferred choice of higher institution during the UTME registration can confirm if they meet the current cut-off mark for the institution.

Prospective candidates who meet the cut off mark would then proceed for post UTME and internal screening exercise at Enugu state polytechnic (ESPOLY), and are thereby are advised to carry all supporting documents along including recent coloured passport photographs.

Candidates should note that the benefits of scoring up to the cut off mark for ESPOLY in 2024/2025 academic session is that it affords candidates the opportunity to sit for post UTME aptitude tests and also study any of the courses offered in Enugu state polytechnic (ESPOLY) so long as the candidates get a good score in the internal screening exercise and meet the other requirements.

Documents required for Internal screening at Espoly;

A) In order to be eligible for admission at Enugu state polytechnic (ESPOLY), candidates must score up to the minimum cut off mark for the current academic session as fixed by JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board)

B) Candidates applying for admission into Espoly must have a minimum of 5 credits in Mathematics and English and other relevant subjects as it relates to his or her course of study in not more than two (2) sittings to be eligible to sit for their post UTME screening aptitude test

C) Enugu state polytechnic would also request for your original documents which includes ‘O’ level certificate, please note that awaiting results are accepted by ESPOLY so long as results would be made available upon request during the screening exercise.

D) Original copy of your birth certificate or birth declaration

E) Candidates are also to carry along with them recent passport photographs (Coloured)

We are in the habit of reminding candidates that scoring above the minimum JAMB cut off mark for Espoly does not in any way guarantee you an automatic admission into the polytechnic, until a successful internal screening exercise carried out on all candidates then candidates can be rest assured. it only increases your likelihood should you perform above average in your post UTME exercise.
