PZ Cussons Chemistry Challenge Competition (PZCCC) is Nigeria’s number one physical science contest that is designed to stimulate and inspire the learning of Chemistry amongst secondary school students.
The Chemistry competition is an initiative of the PZ Cussons Foundation, and it is powered by two foremost family brands Premier Soap and Nunu Milk from the stable of PZ Cussons Nigeria.
The 3rd Edition of the Competition was won by 14 year old Anthony Ekene Ike-Okoro, an SS3 student of Top Grade Secondary School Surulere, Lagos. He emerged as the overall winner with a total score of 88.8 per cent. He won a cash prize of N700, 000, a laptop and gold medal, and his Chemistry teacher Mr John Odinibe Nnnani who is currently preparing and training his candidates for this year, went home with N100,000.00 while the school won a trophy and chemistry textbooks worth N100,000.00. In an interview, Anthony narrated how his elder brother who was the 3rd runner up at the maiden edition of the competition, encouraged and gave him the needed motivation to become champion.
