Electrical And Electronics Engineering Admission Requirements & Subject Combination

Electrical And Electronics Engineering Admission Requirements & Subject Combination

Electrical and Electronics Engineering is one of the best Engineering courses in the field of Engineering because it covers a very wide range of functions. Every electrical or Mechanical component must have an electric system that powers it hence Electrical and Electronics Engineers are needed in every field of Engineering today.

The admission requirement for studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Elect/Elect) in Nigeria is almost the same in all schools except for the JAMB cut off marks. Elect/Elect requires a high JAMB cut off mark, good post UTME score and most importantly a very good O’level result.

Talking about the admission requirements for studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering, four (4) things are involved, namely:

  1. Required O’Level subjects
  2. O’Level and UTME subjects combination
  3. JAMB or UTME Score of the candidate
  4. Post UTME Score

Any candidate that can conveniently meet the above admission requirements to the university’s satisfaction, admission into any university be it University of Ibadan (UI), UNN, DELSU, UNIZIK, UNILAG and the likes is 100% guaranteed.

Often times we stress the need for the correct WAEC, NECO and UTME subject combination for studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering as a course in our tertiary institutions cannot be overemphasized as candidates tend to ignore the importance of this subject matter thus making it difficult for them to gain admission into the university to study this course.

Making use of the correct and approved WAEC and NECO subject requirements plus JAMB subject combination for Electrical and Electronics Engineering makes the admission process much easier for candidates seeking admission to study Elect/Elect in their various choice of institutions.

Not many are aware that one of the major reason for the increase in purchase of change of course and institution form is because before embarking on the UTME, most candidates fail to confirm the correct WAEC and NECO subjects required to study Elect/Elect and thus making them go through the process of change of course or institution and sometimes, both.

In one of our posts, we harped succinctly on subject combination for WAEC/NECO and JAMB, it would be wise to go through it as this will give candidates better understandings on not just the subject combination for Electrical and Electronics Engineering but other courses as approved by JAMB.

Admission Requirements For Studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering In Nigerian Universities

In this post today, we shall be giving candidates full details as regards the WAEC and NECO otherwise known as O’Level subjects combination and admission requirements for studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering in our universities today.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering covers a wide range and scope as it involves both theory and practical classes. Upon graduation, an Electrical and Electronics Engineer can work in any Engineering, IT or even other Multinational companies? The truth remains that they are valuable assets in every field.

So if you are interested in this studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering, you must meet their admission requirements which we are about to breakdown below.
