EKSU notice to students on CBT examination

EKSU notice to students on CBT examination

The attention of the Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti has been drawn to a purported BREAKING NEWS being circulated on the social media by the leadership of the university Students’ Union titled: UPDATE ON GST EXAMS.

In the social media update, the Students’ Union body alleged that “CBT has crashed” and as a result, directed “100 level and carry over students to be available in the school on 4 – 6 January 2022 to rewrite the exam”.

For the information of our students and the general public, the purported breaking news is the figment of the imagination of the so-called authors and is TOTALLY UNTRUE, hence should be ignored and discountenanced. As a matter of fact, the CBT has not crashed as claimed. The CBT exam was completed without any hitch and the results are already with the Directorate of General Studies (GST).

Also, the Portal Management Team (PMT) and the Directorate of GST had decided to reschedule the Part-Time examination to January due to inadequate records and registration on the part of the Part-Time students.

All students of Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti are to note that the university has its own appropriate media for passing relevant information to them.

Thank you.
