A Modern Faculty of Agricultural Sciences building complex described as one of the best in Nigerian Universities has been completed by the Contractor handling the project.
The Complex with state of the art big laboratories and offices was officially handed over to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patrick Oladipo Aina on Thursday, 6th February, 2014.
The two-storey building with four (4) big laboratories and three (3) others, contained offices for Lecturers and Professors with well equipped spaces for research.
Receiving the keys, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patrick Oladipo Aina said the massive edifice was one of the giant steps taken by his administration to transit the University to a World-Class Status. Adding that, it would provide opportunities for staff and students to embark on research that will be useful to the University and the
society at large.
Professor Aina noted that the construction of the complex took less than a year to complete a situation he described as a miracle.
