Ekiti State University, EKSU gets approval to start BSc Medical Laboratory Science. EKSU will be among the about 20 universities currently running degree programme in Medical Laboratory Science in Nigeria.
The Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria, Ekiti State has presented a proposal to the Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Professor Samuel Oye Bandele detailing provisions required to start a new Bachelor of Science degree programme, BSc Medical Laboratory Science.
The leader of the team, Dr. C.O Esan congratulated the Vice-Chancellor on his appointment as the 7th Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State University, adding that the recently held IGR and Academic Summits organized by the Vice-Chancellor and his team have laid the foundation for the efficient academic programme as well as making the University self sufficient.
Dr. Esan said that about 20 Universities out of well over one hundred Universities in Nigeria currently run degree programme in Medical Laboratory Science.
