EID El-Kabir: KNSG declares one week break for schools in the state

In view of the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir festivities, Kano State Government has declared Sunday, 18th to Sunday, 25th July, 2021 as Sallah break.

This was disclosed by the Kano State Commissioner of Education, Malam Muhammad Sanusi Sa'id Kiru.

Therefore parents/ guardiance are directed to convey their wards in Boarding schools from Saturday, 17th July and return them back on Sunday 25th July 2021 respectively, while students in the Day Schools are to resume on Monday 26th of the same month.

However, all SS 3 Barding schools students writing the ongoing NECO SSCE examination are exempted from the break as they are to remain in their respective schools and face the ongoing Neco examinations with vigour.

The government, according to the Commissioner, has made adequate arrangements to make the students comfortable during the sallah festivities while they remain in their various schools.
