We wish to notify all new and returning students of Edo State University, Uzairue (EDSU) that the university’s administration has made adjustments to the academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The revised EDSU academic calendar is designed to span approximately one year. All academic and non-academic activities have been meticulously scheduled within the approved timeframe, as directed by the university’s management.

The Senate of Edo State University, Uazirue , convened an emergency meeting during which they ratified the adjusted academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic sessions as outlined below:

| 09/10/2023 – 21/10/2023 | Screening and Registration commences for newly admitted students 1st Semester 2024/2025 Academic Session. |
| 14/10/2023 | Returning Students come into Halls of Residence for 1st Semester 2024/2025 Academic Session |
| 23/10/2023 | 1st Semester Lectures begins for all students |
| 03/11/2023 – 04/11/2023 | 5th Convocation Lecture/Ceremony |
| 06/11/2023 | Late Course Registration. The sum of N15, 000 fine will be Paid after two weeks. Late Registration ends after 6 weeks 4/12/2023. |
| 11/12/2023 – 05/01/2024 | Christmas break (3 Weeks & 5 Days) |
| 06/01/2024 | All students return to campus after Christmas break |
| 09/01/2024 | 1st Semester Lectures continues after Christmas break |
