The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas has approved the appointment of Dr. Mainasara Yakubu Kurfi as the Head of, Department of Mass Communication.
A letter signed by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas dated 5 January 2021 says the appointment is for an initial period of two years and with effect from 11 January, 2021.
I am pleased to inform you that following the receipt of your nomination for the headship of your Department and the subsequent consultations I have had on the matter, you are hereby appointed as Head of Department of Mass Communication for two years commencing from January 11 2021" the statement reads in part.
