The DOU adjusted academic calendar has been designed to run for a period of 1 year approximately. All academic and non-academic activities have been scheduled to take place within the approved time frame as adjusted by the management of the university.

- Sunday, November 5, 2023 – Old Students Return to Campus
- Monday, November 6, 2023 – Registration of Courses for Old Students Begin
- Monday, November 13, 2023 – Lectures Begins
- Tuesday, 16-Thursday January 18, 2024 – Orientation for Fresh Students
- Friday, January 19, 2024 – Matriculation of Fresh Students
- Friday, February 2, 2024 – Registration of Students Ends
- Monday, February 5, – Friday, February 9, 2024 –
- Late Registration of Courses
- Registration with Penalty fees
- Friday, February 16, 2024 – Last day for Adding and Deletion of Courses
- Friday, February 16, 2024 – Temporary Withdrawal/Deferment Ends

- Monday, February 26, 2024 – First Semester Examinations Begins
