About the DJCares Scholarship
Digital Jewels is dedicated to providing high-quality classroom-based training, e-learning, and specialised recruitment services. The DJCares Scholarship is a part of this mission, offering financial support and career guidance to help students develop relevant skills for the information age.
In addition to the scholarship, recipients will have the opportunity for placement with Digital Jewels during holidays, designated Industrial Training periods, and Youth Service.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the DJCares Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Course of Study: Must be pursuing an IT-related course, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Academic Performance: Must have a GPA of at least 3.75/5 each semester since university enrolment.
- Age: Must not be older than 23 years by October of the application year.
- University Tenure: Must have spent at least 2 years in university.
- English Proficiency: Must have proficiency in English (both oral and written).
- References: Must provide two credible references, one of which must be from a current institution (e.g., HOD, Dean).
Application Process
Eligible students need to write and submit a 500-word essay on one of the following topics:
- Balancing Innovation and Security: The Ethical Dilemma of AI-Enabled Deepfakes in information technology and its impact on information security.
- Tech Literacy in the 21st Century: The importance of tech literacy in today’s world and how it affects personal growth and opportunities.
- My Digital Footprint: Understanding how your online activities can impact your future education and career prospects.

Terms and Conditions
