The School of Part-time Studies Building of Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashiuku, was engulfed by fire on Sunday 6th May, 2012. The inferno which occurred at about 7:30pm would have razed down everything if not for the prompt response of men of the police force and fire service...
Management at its emergency meeting of 7th May, 2012 over the incidence, commended those who helped to prevent the fire from spreading to other buildings. Management has also constituted a high power committee to investigate the incidence appropriately.
Members of the Polytechnic Community are hereby called upon to volunteer information that would assist the committee to do a thorough job.
Meanwhile, management has directed that the on-going first semester examination should continue.
