The Management of Delta State Polytechnic Otefe-Oghara has released a circular notifying staff and students of the closure of the institution and postponement of first semester examinations.

The Delta State Government has imposed a 48-hour curfew in the state, commencing on 6:00 pm of Thursday, 22nd October 2020.
In compliance with this development, the management of the Polytechnic hereby directs the closure of the Polytechnic for all activities with effect from 6 pm of Thursday 22nd October 2020.
The Polytechnic will be reopened on Monday, 26th October 2020.
Consequently, all examinations scheduled for Friday, 23rd and Saturday, 24th October 2020 are hereby shifted to Monday, 26th and Tuesday, 27th October 2020 respectively while ND1 and HNDI examinations earlier scheduled to commence on Monday, 26th October 2020 will now commence on Wednesday, 28th October 2020.
All staff and students are by this circular, directed to vacate the Polytechnic premises by 6 pm today, Thursday, 22nd October 2020 and resume on Monday, 26th October 2020.
