DELSU Part-Time Professional Diploma Programme (PDP) Admission Form 2024/2025 Academic Session

Delta State University part time professional Diploma Programme admission form for 2024/2025 academic session is out. The Centre for Continuing Education Programme is currently receiving applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Part-Time Professional Diploma Programmes. The duration of study for the Diploma Programmes are four (4) semesters Part-Time Diploma.

The following programes are as well as their requirements must be met before an applicant is eligible for admission.

DELSU PDP Programmes and Requirements

Programme: Computer Science:

Requirements: To qualify for admission into Professional Diploma in Computer Science programme, candidates must possess at least five O/L Credit passes at not more than two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and any two of Biology, Chemistry, Economics and Geography

Programme: Information Communication Technology (ICT)

Requirements: To qualify for admission into Professional Diploma in Computer Science programme, candidates must possess at least five O/L Credit passes at not more than two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and any two of Biology, Chemistry, Economics and Geography.

Programme :Security, Peace and Conflict Resolution

Requirements: A minimum of Five (5) credit passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) NECO or General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE) O’ Level TC II or their equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics and two Social Science subject and any other subject obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.

Programme: Cooperative Studies

Requirements: Candidates must possess a minimum of Five (5) credit passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) NECO or General Certificate of Education (GCE) O’ Level including English Language, Mathematics and Economics and any other Social Science subjects obtained at not more than two sittings.

Programme: Laboratory Equipment Maintenance and Management

Requirements: Five (5) credit level passes in SSCE (WAEC or NECO)/GCE O/L in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English Language obtained at not more than two (2) sittings. Equivalent qualifications such as NABTEB are acceptable.

Programme: Journalism and Media Studies

Requirements: A minimum of Five (5) O/Level credit passes in (SSCE) NECO, NABTEB, GCE or its equivalent at not more than two sittings., these should include credit in English Language, Mathematics, and Literature in English and two Social Science subjects

Programme: Broadcasting

Requirements:A minimum of Five (5) O/Level credit passes in (SSCE) NECO, NABTEB, GCE or its equivalent at not more than two sittings., these should include credit in English Language, Mathematics, and Literature in English and two Social Science subjects

Programme: Public Relations

Requirements: A minimum of Five (5) O/Level credit passes in (SSCE) NECO, NABTEB, GCE or its equivalent at not more than two sittings., these should include credit in English Language, Mathematics, and Literature in English and two Social Science subjects.

How To Apply for DELSU PDP Admission Form

Candidates are required to visit portal.delsu.edu.ng to generate an application virtual pin of N30,000 (Thirty Thousand naira) only and make payment to any of the following banks: Ecobank, Unity Bank, Zenith Bank and UBA Bank.

PROCEDURE TO GENERATE VIRTUAL PIN

STEP 1 – Visit delsu.edu.ng

STEP 2 – Click online registration

STEP 3 – Click Start

STEP 4 – Click Diploma Programme

STEP 5 – Click Start

STEP 6 – Submit the form and generate pin

STEP 7 – Submit the form and generate pin

STEP 8 – Print out the pin generated

STEP 9 – Visit the specified bank for payment.

Other information:

(a) Candidates should, with the pin for payment access and complete the Delta State University, Abraka, 2024/2025 Professional Diploma Form Online at http://www.delsu.edu.ng with their recent coloured passport sized photograph scanned to the JPEG format and not more than 20kb in size.

b) Candidates are advised to use virtual pin immediately after payment as the pin will be invalid after six (6) hours of generation.

c) Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the front page of the website before completing the form.

d) Online application starts on Tuesday, 15th September,

DELSU Part-Time PDP Admission Form Closing Date

The management of Centre for Continuing Education Programme, Abraka Delta state has announced that the Online application will start on Wednesday 1st November, 2023 and application website closes by 12.00 midnight on Wednesday, January 31st 2024 (for the Regular and Weekend Modes); and Friday 31st May, 2024 (for the Sandwich Mode).

  • Candidates are to submit their form for evidence of application and credentials to the office
  • Candidates are to log on ONLY the course they choose for the Diploma programme.
