This is to inform staff and students, especially candidates who have been admitted in the Regular. Academic Session and Diploma Programmes, that the Matriculation Ceremony for 2021/2022 has been scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 2022 in both Campuses of the University, as indicated below

Note: Students are to be seated by 10.30 am.
Consequently, all Faculty Officers are requested to visit the Senate Division as from Tuesday, March 15, 2022 for collection of academic gowns for their matriculating students.
Matriculating students should note that all gowns collected MUST be returned in good conditions to the Senate Division not later than Monday, March 21, 2022, failing which, the matriculants would pay a penal fee of Five Hundred Naira (N500) for each day the gown is retained; while a penal fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) would be charged as cost of replacement for any gown not returned or damaged
Matriculating students should also note that on no account must they rent their gowns to photographers as the University Security operatives have been directed to impound such gowns found with unauthorized persons
