Gaining admission into higher institutions can be a herculean task, making the right choices could be confusing but believe it or not, whichever institution you finally get into isn’t what matters the most, but what you come out with.
The truth is that nowadays, most organizations careless about your institutions but care more about what you have to offer. A close friend who isn’t even a graduate but an expert in IT confidently heads the IT unit of one of the branches of Fidelity bank and his salary is at the threshold of seven figures.
Be decisive with whatever school you select but please note that if you select a school within your catchment area, it gives you more advantage that is you are more likely to gain admission into the higher institution than those outside that catchment area. For example, If you are from Delta state, you are likely to gain admission faster into Delta state university, University of Benin, University of Port Harcourt, Delta State poly, Auchi poly (Edo state) Ambrose Ali University (Edo state) and so on.
