A former student of The Polytechnic Ibadan, Ahmed Olalekan, has been reportedly killed by suspected Cult Group. The graduate who was a former Chief Security Officer and member of "The Students Forum", an anti-cultism group comprising of current and former students of the institution, was shot dead on Monday night by members of an alleged cult group identified as Aiye Confraternity of Nigeria.
The suspect was killed in his apartment at Ibadan, according to information gathered, the suspect was first shot and was later hacked with an axe several times.
Following the report, his colleagues and members of the forum embarked on a protest blaming the school for not taking appropriate measures.
His colleague reportedly said the school was aware that the suspected group have been on their tail for more than two weeks. He further explained how they have received several calls threatening them to stop obstructing their Cultism activities.
