Alma Oputa emerged the best graduating student at the 9th Convocation Ceremony of the Covenant University held on June 27th, 2014 at the University Chapel, Canaan Land, Ota, Nigeria for the 2013/2014 Academic Session.
The 20 year old lady was said to have graduated with a cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.99/5.0.
So far she is the second to achieve such feat in the university.
The Graduate of Computer Science who said she initially wanted to study medicine right from her childhood years attributed her success to God, her friends and lecturers.
She mentioned her dad, Bishop David Oyedepo and Ben Carson as her mentors and when asked if she had time for social activities while in school, this was her reply: definitely! I’m a very social person and I love to participate in social events. I’m an extrovert, with a lot of friends. It just boils down to how well you are able to manage your time.
