Remember that you will still get 500MB Daily for Airtel Users: We're pleased to inform all Airtel users that you will be given 500MB of data daily to browse any content on the SchoolGist Website, throughout the stay-at-home/lockdown period, to curb the spread of the Coronavirus. This kind gesture has been provided by Airtel, to help students study and access useful resources on SchoolGist, during these difficult times. This simply means that browsing the SchoolGist Website or using the SchoolGist App from an Airtel line will not use up your data.

Essay Challenge Winners

We truly appreciate all those who submitted essays. We cannot thank you guys enough for the massive participation, and we believe this has created some level of awareness, within the student community, about the COVID-19 pandemic that is currently ravaging our world. In truth, creating awareness for the disease was our ultimate goal for this competition.

We had to carefully go through all the essays submitted, right from page 1 till the last essay on 12th April. Our verdict? All essays submitted were awesome! We actually encourage you to write more, and we will be doing this by hosting another essay challenge. More details will be provided on Thursday, 16th April.

In as much as our intention was to create awareness about the coronavirus, we just have to pick some winners from the thousands of entries received. Don't get us wrong, YOU'RE ALL WINNERS!

Based on the issues raised by many of the participants earlier on, we decided NOT to go ahead with the use of likes as one of the criteria. The essays that won were selected based on organization, points raised, grammatical structure/expression and compliance to all the other rules earlier stated.

Please note that all essays that were longer or shorter than the recommended length of words, not posted as comments, posted more than once and without topic headlines at the top were automatically disqualified.
