The order was issued by Judge Polycarp Hamman on Wednesday in response to the federal government’s request for an interlocutory injunction against the ongoing ASUU strike.
ASUU has been on strike since February 14 to press for increased university funding and a review of lecturers’ salaries, among other things.
Several meetings between ASUU and the Federal Government had resulted in a stalemate.
Consequently, the Federal Government went to court to challenge the strike.
