Confluence university receives NUC approval for eight courses

The National Universities Commission has given approval for the running of eight additional courses at the Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Kogi state (CUSTECH).

The university which was established in 2020, was previously accredited to offer eleven programmes namely: Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Physics.

The newly approved courses are; B.Eng. Chemical Engineering, B.Eng. Civil Engineering, B.Eng. Computer Engineering, B.Eng. Electrical and Electronics Engineering, B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering, B. Eng. Mining Engineering, BSc. Geology, and BSc. Applied Geophysics.

The addition of the newly approved eight courses by the NUC gives a total of nineteen 19 programmes that CUSTECH will be running in the next academic calendar.

The proposed Academic Calendar for the 2021/2022 Session is due to commence from Monday 11th April 2022.

Fresh students interested in any of the 19 programmes can now apply to be admitted to the institution.
