Bayero University Kano (BUK) has officially announced the release of admissions for its part-time programme under the School of Continuing Education (SCE) for the 2020/2021 academic session.
Admission Instructions
For prospective students, instructions for obtaining admission and the subsequent registration process can be found on the BUK portal at https://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/mysceadmission/login.php. The steps include:
Downloading Admission Letter
Candidates should first download their admission letter from the BUK portal.
Payment of Processing Fees
A personalized invoice should be generated by the candidates on the portal. With the printed invoice, candidates should proceed to any bank to pay a processing fee of Seven Thousand Naira (N7,000.00). Note that this applies only to those who have not directly applied for the Part-Time Degree programme through the BUK Portal.

BUK Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF)
Students are required to generate, download, and print a BUK Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF). The form contains the amount to be paid as acceptance fees. Payments should be made using the Remita e-Payments and e-Collection platform. Ensure to understand and follow the payment procedure accurately to avoid loss of funds as a result of incorrect data entry.
Medical Examination
At this point, candidates are expected to conduct a medical examination at any government hospital.
Screening of Credentials
Following the payments, candidates should bring both the originals and photocopies of the required documents for screening at the School of Continuing Education, located along Kwanar-Taya, Dala Campus.

- Bank teller for payment of acceptance fee
- Bank teller for payment of N7, 000.00 processing fee (Only affected candidate)
- Admission letter
- All credentials (O Level for UTME candidates; O Level and A. level for D. E.)
- Birth certificate/declaration of age
- Completed Undertaking Form (Can be downloaded from the portal)
- Medical examination result
- Two copies of recent passport photographs
- Letter of reference from a person of reputable standing in the society
- Indigene certificate
Online Registration
Following the screening and issuance of a registration number, students can commence online registration for the 2020/2021 academic session. This includes the payment of registration fees.
