BSU disclaimer notice to 2022/2023 applicants

The Academic Office of the Benue State University, Makurdi has been inundated with calls/enquiries on alleged system crash of the BSU portal alledgedly leading to loss of candidates/Jambites vital information uploaded for the 2022/2023 admissions; requesting them for another  round of upload.
It is of categorical imperative to inform candidates and the general public that the false alarm is the handiwork of fraudsters who are bent on misleading the public with intent and criminal purpose to defraud them.

For the avoidance of doubt,  the University has harvested and populated the University admission template with all data supplied by candidates in readiness for the 2022/2023 admission exercise. This information has been safely stored in hard and soft copies in readiness for use.

The Benue State University operates a safe and secured portal that guarantees easy retrieval and recovery of record therefrom in the event of unforseen circumstances. The University equally has competent hands manning her portal. Only cheap fraudsters can sell out such misleading and unintelligent story to unsuspecting public.

The public and indeed all applicants to the BSU for the 2022/2023 admissions are assured of the safety of their information supplied to the University via the University Portal. The false alarm should be disregard and discountenanced in its entirety.
Candidates who are yet to register for the Post UTME Online Screening are encouraged to do so in the next two weeks from today, 07/03/23 to avoid missing out on the exercise and by extension, the 2022/2023 admission.

Thank you.

Deputy Registrar/Academic Officer
BSU, Makurdi.
