The Academic Office of the Benue State University, Makurdi, has received a high volume of calls and enquiries regarding the alleged system crash of the BSU portal. This issue is purportedly leading to the loss of candidates’ vital information uploaded for the 2022/2023 admissions, with some individuals requesting another round of upload.
However, the University wishes to inform candidates and the general public that this is a false alarm that fraudsters are spreading with the intent of misleading the public and committing criminal acts of fraud. The Academic Office considers it a categorical imperative to clarify the situation and assure everyone that the false alarm is entirely the handiwork of fraudsters.
To dispel any doubt, the Benue State University has already harvested and populated the University admission template with all data supplied by candidates in readiness for the 2022/2023 admission exercise. Moreover, the information has been safely stored in hard and soft copies in readiness for use.
The Benue State University operates a safe and secured portal that guarantees easy retrieval and recovery of record therefrom in the event of unforeseen circumstances. The University equally has competent hands manning her portal. Only cheap fraudsters can sell out such misleading and unintelligent story to unsuspecting public.
