This is to inform the general public, most especially prospective students of the institution that the Management of Borno State University has announced the resumption of the institution.
Following a circular by the Borno State Government, through the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation which in part reads;
I. All Tertiary Institutions in the State should firm up arrangements for the resumption of Academic activities with effect from Monday, 26 October 2020 as approved by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babugana Umara Zulum, mni, FNSE following the significant decline of COVID-19 Pandemic in the State.
II. Accordingly the Senate of Borno State University has approved Wednesday, 28h October 2020 as resumption date for both staff and students.
In line with the above circular and in compliance with same, I wish to implore all staff/students to abide by the safety measures enumerated by the Government in an effort to curtail and/or minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Accordingly, staff/students are enjoined to maintain social distancing, high level of personal hygiene in their affairs, frequent use of hand sanitizers to wash hands, etc, please.
