In view of the recent postponement of the Governorship and State Assembly Elections from 11th of March to the 18th of March, 2023 by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), I am directed to notify you of the following adjustments:-
Schooling will continue as from tomorrow Friday, 10th of March to Thursday, 16th of March, 2023
Schools will close for the Governorship and State Assembly Elections as from Friday, 17th to Monday, 20 March, 2023.
Schools will re-open on Tuesday, 21 March to Wednesday, 5th April, 2023.
IV. Note that these adjustments will not in any way interfere with External Examinations whose Time Tables are fixed by the relevant Examination bodies.
All Schools are to strictly comply with these adjustments.
