BMU admission into newly approved undergraduate academic programmes

This is inform prospective candidates, parents, guardians and sponsors that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the establishment and commencement of full-time mode of study in the under-listed six (6) undergraduate academic programmes for the Bayelsa Medical University, Yenagoa with effect from the 2023/2024 Academic Year following a resource verification exercise that was conducted in April 2023:

Computer Science (B.Sc) - 4-Year Duration

Health Care Administration and Hospital Management (B.Sc) - 4-Year Duration

Pharmacy (Pharm. D) 6-Year Duration

Radiography and Radiation Science (B.Sc)- 4-Year Duration

Health Information Management (B.Sc) - 4-Year Duration

Dental Technology (B. Tech) - 4-Year Duration

Prospective candidates who are interested in seeking admission into any of the above listed academic programmes in the 2023/2024 Academic Year and who sat for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and obtained a score not less than 140 are eligible to apply.

In addition, prospective candidates should also possess at least five (5) credits including English and Mathematics at O’level Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination.
