The management of the Federal Polytechnic Bida (BIDAPOLY) has released the guidelines for the 2021 Students Union Government (SUG) election.

This is to inform the entire students that the Rector, Dr A. A. Dzukogi, in his continued quest to ensure free, fair and transparent elections, has approved e-voting mode for the conduct of 2021 SUG elections.

Consequently, students are to note the following important instructions:
- All voting will hold at the CBT Centre (Library complex), Abuja area:
- Voting will hold on Saturday, 7th August, 2021 between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm.
- Only registered students will be allowed to vote and be voted for.
- Students are to present their identification card or registration slip to gain access into the CBT centre for accreditation.
- After accreditation, the student will be given a pin code (password).
- Each student has five (5) minutes to cast his/her vote.
Federal Polytechnic Bida Step-by-Step SUG Voting Procedure
- On the system, input your “matric number” for the system to identify/recognize your registration status.
- Input the “pin code (password)” and click enter to access the voting page for Executive Council.
- Vote by clicking the “button” under the candidate of your choice for all the offices (posts) of the Executive Council.
- Click the “continue” button to move to the Students’ Representatives Council (Senate) voting page.
- Vote by clicking the “button” under the candidate of your choice.
- Click the “continue” button to move to the Hostel/Hall Representatives voting page.
- Vote by clicking the “button” under the candidate of your choice.
- Finally, click the “submit” button to have your votes recorded.
Note:
- If you fail or forget to submit at the expiration of the allotted time (5 mins), the system will automatically make the submission and record the votes accordingly.
- If you need help, the election officials will be available to guide you appropriately.
