HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Usually, the process starts with the candidates purchasing the Benson Idahosa University’s admission form from any of their contact points in Lagos, Abuja, Port-Harcourt, Warri and the Admissions Office of the University campus on Ugbor Road, GRA, Benin City for just seven thousand naira (N7000) only, and this amount is payable into UBA Account number 1016105176. (You can call the admission office for verification before payment is done)

BIU Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Programme

To be eligible for admission, prospective students must meet the following requirements as stipulated by the university.

1. The minimum entry requirement into any of the underlisted undergraduate programmes is five(5) O’level credit passes including Mathematics and English in relevant subjects as indicated in the current UTME brochure, obtained at not more than two sittings, in any of the following examinations WASSCE, NECO or their equivalent.
2. It is mandatory that prospective students should have registered for, and passed the current UTME. Direct entry process for intending students with Diploma or NCE are also available.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Candidates who did not choose Benson Idahosa University in their UTME can apply. The university provides a regularization process, to change the University of 1st Choice to Benson Idahosa University, at no cost to the applicant.
