Bella BBN was born Chidimma Esther Okagbue, in Anambra State, Eastern Nigeria, on the 31st May, 1997. She was born into the Okagbue Royal family of Onitsha, Anambra State, in eastern Nigeria. Her late father was the Obi of Onitsha; Obi Ofala Okagbue who died in 2001.
Bella is the last child of the family; she has 5 siblings; most of whom also work in the entertainment industry. She attended prestigious schools in Anambra for her primary and secondary education, and when it was time for higher studies she chose the University of Lagos.
She was encouraged by her siblings who are already movie stars to pursue a career in entertainment; and so, during her university days she started working a model, and a music video vixen. However, it was the Big Brother Naija show that really brought her out as a brand.

A similar situation happened with Chichi; although this time it was all about ethics. Bella and Chichi almost did a royal rumble over a wager task in the house. This was caused by Chichi’s suggestion that a new idea should be done for the group’s task. A suggestion which didn’t sit well with Bella- prompting her to remind Chichi that Biggie had passed an instruction that all group members must deliver a distinct talent for the task.
Interestingly, Chichi tried to shut her up; but Bella fired back, and the two almost clashed.
In an interview, Bella later explained that she is a quick tempered person, but that does intense outbursts do not that she is malicious with anybody. She further stated that she is a competitive person, and that she has a desire to be a winner. When people on her team are not performing to expectation she is likely to get angry.
Perhaps it was true love; she hardly ever got angry or raised her voice at Sheggz; with whom she was romantically involved during the show.

The new thing that Bella BBN has started is content creation. She is banking on her new found social media clout, and so she creates content and posts them her social media accounts; which then go viral and are shared online as well as offline by her numerous fans.
