According to a press release issued by the Bauchi State Commissioner of Education Dr. Aliyu U. Tilde, on Tuesday, February 9, the state's Teachers Service Commission has approved the promotion of over 3000 teachers in the state.
According to the Commissioner, the approval comes after the recommendation of the Ministry of Education.
In his words;
Some have not been promoted for a decade or more. The last promotion was in 2016. By His glory, with the TSC we were able to get it done,” Tilde said.
Kudos to our administrative staff, the TSC, and all those that saw this through. A thumb to the new TSC Chairman—my former Permanent Secretary—Malam Musa Wadata,” he added.
