A 300-level student of the Federal University Dutsinma, Kabiru Namadi alongside two other persons was on Saturday, January 7, killed by bandits in Zamfara state.
According to reports, the student conveyed one Hajiya Rabi and her daughter to Zurmi for a visit to the wives of the late Emir of Zurmi. They ran into the bandits while returning from the condolence visit at Sabon Gida, Bakin Gebe Road in Zurmi Local Government Area of the state.
The gunmen who had blocked the road, reportedly opened fire on their car, killing the victims.
A Facebook user, Yunusa Idris, who confirmed the incident on Sunday, January 8, 2023, said the victims have been buried.
