Scholarship Details
Available Positions
The BAC4RumA Scholarship is available for two MSc and two PhD candidates. The project will focus on using bacteriocin-rich extracts as an alternative to traditional antibiotics to combat bacterial infections in livestock and aquaculture.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, you need a background in Veterinary Medicine. For MSc candidates, a DVM degree is required, while PhD candidates must also hold an MSc degree in a relevant field. The MSc programme is 18 months long, and the PhD programme spans three years. PhD candidates will also conduct part of their research at the Instituto de Investigación y Tecnología Agroalimentarias (IART) in Spain and the Royal Holloway University of London (RHUL) in the UK. Shortlisted applicants will undergo an interview process, and female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
