News reaching SchoolGist informed a surprising increase in school fees of Babcock University to about 70% higher than what it used to be. Allegedly, some courses would be paying up to N3,000,000.00 per session!
This announcement came not long after the National University Commission (NUC) published the current ranking position of schools in the country, which saw this BABCOCK at as far as No. 26 on the list.
It could also be noted that no Nigerian university (not even the first on the NUC list to talk of the 26th) appeared among the world best 400 schools, no African university is on the list, so on what bases are they charging this amount and the reason for the increase in almost 70% increase from previous fees.
Meanwhile as at the time of this announcement, it was noticed that the university have shut down access to its website, probably due to the reaction of well-meaning Nigerians about this fee hike. Let's see if they will review it.
But wait, BABCOCK is a mission school. So why go this extreme?
