Wide spread joy was noticed nationwide as the ASUU strike was called off. Parents are happy that their children will finally be returning to school instead of whiling away their time at home. Even majority of students, who appeared to have been very bored reacted in a happy mood and eager to go back to school.
No doubt, traffic on the roads will be heavier this weekend as students return to their various schools of study.
Since Monday was declared a public holiday by the Government, Majority of Schools nationwide are expected to begin full academic activities by Tuesday.
Even though the long awaited ASUU strike was suspended, students of institutions such as Imo State University will be expected to sit at home due to an Internal Strike Action by lecturers of IMSU saying the Imo State Government should meet their demands promised.
Well after a long break from the ASUU strike, SchoolGist therefore uses this opportunity to wish all students a safe trip back to school.
