ASUU: NANS demands education minister’s resignation

The National Association of Nigerian Students has again, called for the resignation of Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, over the lingering strike embarked by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities.

The association made the call during a protest, staged along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

The aggrieved students accused the education minister of not showing enough interest in dialoguing with the university unions which has led to the continuous closure of schools.

The association's Vice President (External Affairs), Akinteye Babatunde maintained that they would continue blocking the road until the Federal Government resolves the strike issue with the lecturers.
