Assoc. Prof. Amina Muhammad Sani has taken over the office of Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Al-Qalam University from Assoc. Prof. Muhammad Kabir Kado who completed his second tenure Tuesday, 5th April, 2022.
The handing over was concluded at the Management Meeting presided by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nasiru Musa Yauri.
Assoc. Prof. Amina becomes the first female DVC in the history of the University. Amina is an Assoc. Prof. of Islamic Studies with specialisation in Islamic Civilisation, and until her new appointment, she was the Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies of the University. She also served as Sub-Dean, Student Affairs from 2017 to 2018.
