Aminu Saleh College of Education Announces Sallah Break

Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare (ASCOEA), has announced a suspension of activities for the Eid El-Kabir Break. This notification extends to all Staff, Students, and the Public, taking effect from Tuesday 27th June, 2023, through to Sunday 2nd July, 2023. The College’s Management also communicates certain exceptions and wishes everyone a happy Sallah celebration.

In honor of the Eid El-Kabir celebrations, ASCOEA has decided to suspend regular activities from Tuesday 27th June to Sunday 2nd July, 2023. This suspension aligns with the national observance of this significant Muslim festival and provides an opportunity for members of the College community to partake in the festivities.

Examination Schedule and Staff Requirements

Despite the suspension of general activities, examinations scheduled for Tuesday 27th June, 2023 will continue as planned. Staff handling these exams are required to remain for the examination before exiting. This arrangement ensures that the academic calendar and students’ progress remain undisturbed during this period.

Exemptions for Essential Service Staff

The College has also stipulated that all Staff on essential services are exempted from the break. This exemption includes Security, Bursary, Animal Herders, Gardeners, Borehole Operators, and Clinic staff. This measure is to ensure the continued smooth functioning of the College and the wellbeing of its community during the break.

Eid El-Kabir Wishes from ASCOEA Management
